On the 25.10.2019 Signal Iduna awards the Environment and Health award of the Handwerkskammer Hamburg fort he 19th time. This year the inclusion company AfB, from Ettlingen, was among the winners. AfB-CEO Daniel Büchle accepted the award for the third place, worth 3000 euro. Since 1987 every second year the award is given out, worth 15 000 euro.

„We thank you very much for this award. We will continue to work for sustainable combination of waste prevention and inclusion“, says CEO Daniel Büchle.

As the biggest nonprofit IT-service provider all over europe, AfB creates, through refurbishment of used Hardware, jobs for people with disabilities and contributes to save environmental ressources. Last year, through the partnership with around 1,000 companies, 360,000 disused IT devices were processed across Europe. All work steps are done together by disabled and non-disabled people; 45% percent of AfB employees are people with disabilities.
